Give composting a chance and witness the positive impact it can have on your garden!

Incredibly it is an effective way to improve the health and fertility of your garden soil. By recycling organic waste such as food scraps, yard trimmings, and paper products, you can create nutrient-rich compost that will help your plants thrive.

Not only does composting reduce the amount of waste that ends up in landfills, but it also helps to retain moisture in the soil, suppress weeds, and promote healthy root growth. In addition, composting can reduce the need for chemical fertilizers and pesticides. Thus, making your garden more environmentally friendly.

Kitchen Hack: Compost egg shells, coffee grounds, and fruit and vegetable scraps. Invest in an outdoor compost bin. They are inexpensive and consciously storing your compost outside vs. inside can make it much easier to manage. Investing in a bin that rotates eliminates the manual labor needed to rotate the compost.

For myself, I feel better knowing the fruits and vegetables I am not able to consume before they spoil, have a second opportunity to benefit my family via the compost bin. It feels better than it going straight to the trash, if I missed the freshness opportunity.

So, why not give composting a chance and see the positive impact it can have on your garden? With just a little effort, you can create a sustainable and productive garden that will benefit both you and the planet.
