Taco Seasoning Recipe
There are several reasons to make your own taco seasoning. The number one reason is to eliminate all of the unnecessary and unnatural ingredients that are often included in store bought versions. Second, if you have gluten free diners, it is a great way to make sure they are not missing out on an excellent Mexican food meal. Thirdly, and this one caught me by surprise, it is a GREAT way to use many of those seasonings in your pantry that don’t get used as often as you may like!
Once I made this recipe, we never looked back. My husband loves it and you would never know that it is gluten free!
Gluten Free Tacos
This month’s kitchen hack:
Keep your Mexican meal completely gluten free by using corn tortillas!
Generally, corn tortillas do not include gluten. However, make sure you read your labels! Additionally, there are several gluten free flour-type tortillas. Either way, you can’t go wrong. When I think of beef tacos, I think of that crunch. You can’t beat a great hard shell corn tortilla!
Many don’t realize how many products include gluten. Frankly, it is completely unnecessary much of the time. If you are trying to eliminate gluten from your diet or even cut it back, this is a great meal to do so. You won’t feel like you are missing out at all!
